The picture of the postcard shows the renewed interior of the Baross café. The pillars covered with mirrors remain a feature of the room. The entire interior is now more modern and cleaner in its furnishings and design. The text on the reverse of the postcard, at the bottom, indicates that the basement was used for dancing in the afternoons and evenings during this period.
