A levelezőlap kékes árnyalatú képes oldalán, az egykori szabadkai Pest szálló saroképülete látható. Aljában működött az azonos nevű kávéház. 1914-ben Tumbasz Lázár vezette, az akkor 50 szobás, étteremmel és kávéházzal rendelkező hotelt. Itt volt – 2007-es lebontásáig – a Szabadkai Népszínház is.
