A képeslapról készített fotón, a selmecbányai Deák utca részlete látható, a Hungária szállóval és a Szent Katalin templommal. A baloldali házsorban álló, kétemeletes épület földszintjén kávéház is működött. 1914-ben Hermann Dezső vezette az akkor már Bristol névre keresztelt, 23 szobás, étteremmel is rendelkező hotelt.
