Sunglasses

In the 1980s, sunglasses took on extreme forms. The designs of Pieter Smit, of which this white model is a modest example. According to journalist John de Greef, Smit was 'a delightful and honest eyewear man of the better sort' and his Optiek Oogappel was the only place where one could borrow and buy the right and the most beautiful glasses in the 1980s.
